I wonder if you could put little pieces of crunched up heath bar in it as the caramel. Maybe it would even melt. Then a nice apple topping.......hmm

We're going to play around with it more this week, but over the weekend my manager made the most delicious pastries ever! He had fugi apples & baked them in a puff pastry in a large cupcake pan, then topped it with cinnamon streusel. Omgsh, they were sooo good!:drool::gi39:

I agree with the :drool:. I love fugi apples, especially with carmel!

lol I know it kinda sounds gross to some but I kinda like the taste of the Caramel Empanadas that taco bell sells. LOL :D I guess cause it's fried too.

I love anything with cooked apples, especially if it's like an apple pie filling. I do like the sound of adding a crunch to it. Not much on the caramel sauce though.

I however, tend not to order pancakes out as most of them are made with some sort of buttermilk product. Waffles are a good substitute though.

I LOVE buttermilk! I make home made salad dressings and dips with it all of the time. Buttermilk is low fat too!;)

Gosh this thread is making me crave all kinds of food. I have been wanting some pancakes or waffles for a while. Just can't get no-one to go with me.
