We are grilling out today and we are grilling a bunch of meat items and just eating it all day today and tomorrow. We are making grilled NY strip steaks, Italian sausage and bq chicken. Im gonna make califlower with cheese. roasted potatoes and watermellon for sides |

Oh, my goodness, CARAMEL Cake - just the sound of that makes me so hungry for a huge fresh slice with a cup of hot coffee or milk. I so love Caramel!!! And you see so few Caramel Cakes at restaurants/bakeries, when they are just to die for! Sounds like a fun event. I love big get-togethers with family or friends and you are right - if it has been very long, everybody ELSE looks so old. But those type celebrations & all the catching up you get to do with people you haven't seen in forever are so much fun. |

Had dinner at an old school steakhouse, with old people in it. :D I swear no one was under 60 except us. Classy! Shared the fried calamari (it was eh) and a 16 oz prime rib medium rare with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. Prime rib was ok, a little over done for med-rare, but the veggies and mashed potatoes were really good. The bread they gave at the beginning was not that good. =/ $50 later..... |
I had some blackened chicken pasta that was too hot and spicy I put too much cajun seasoning in it. So I put some sour cream in it to calm it down and it made it really good |
