So sick now of rich food and wanted something plain, honest, free of heavy spices or thick creams, sauces, gravies or anything. So, in homage to my British sister across the sea, I had a soft egg on a plain sliced down-the-middle baked potato, only salted, peppered and with some butter. Dipped some of the potato chunk in the geggy yolk and you know, it was yummy!!! Rich tasting, satisfying. Mmmmm. I loved it. Tibbe got a tiny bite. Thanks, Sally and Harry!

Needed a midnight snack so got up and heated a can of vegetable beef soup and ate some. Time for bed!

I love eggs. But on a pizza?! I know.... But I just can't. ....certain things just shouldn't be on a pizza. . . Like pineapple. :eek::confused: I am half italian from Queens . . . just can't do it!

:D Pineapple I agree....but I was in Rome with my daughter a year or 2 ago, in a tiny little Pizzeria in the backstreets....and MY idea was actually on THEIR menu!!! Anna couldn't believe her eyes....:D x

No kidding!

Had Raisin Bran, milk and sugar with lots of hot coffee for breakfast early, then went back to bed to sleep for 1 1/2 hours. Tibbe was all for returning to bed, too. He snoozed right off again, too.

Pigs that were actually turkeys in a blanket, tomato soup, asparagus....two hours later we were watching Drive in Diners and Dives on Foodnetwork and Derik ran to the local dive for bacon burgers.

LOL! Derik is a good man! I had 2 Baconators this past summer so I have had my quota for a year or I would have one within 15 minutes. I am severely addicted to them.

I can't watch that diner show!!! Am like a junkie watching someone shoot up hard drugs or something. And may I say, I have lost 3 lbs. this past week! :D
