Sounds yummy Betty :) and so glad you enjoyed your reunion, how wonderful to be part of such a long-standing place. I bet you skipped in there, with your cake under one arm, and a bottle of bubbly under the other...;) :D x

LOL It was a fun time..one person drove 900 miles to attend :)

We are grilling out today and we are grilling a bunch of meat items and just eating it all day today and tomorrow. We are making grilled NY strip steaks, Italian sausage and bq chicken. Im gonna make califlower with cheese. roasted potatoes and watermellon for sides

We've just had butterflied pork shoulder with honey, rosemary + garlic with roast potatoes, carrots, leeks + peas....that was yummy too! :)

MMM thats sounds good too. This is treat day the rest of the week we are eating pasta or out of the freezer

Oh, my goodness, CARAMEL Cake - just the sound of that makes me so hungry for a huge fresh slice with a cup of hot coffee or milk. I so love Caramel!!! And you see so few Caramel Cakes at restaurants/bakeries, when they are just to die for!

Sounds like a fun event. I love big get-togethers with family or friends and you are right - if it has been very long, everybody ELSE looks so old. But those type celebrations & all the catching up you get to do with people you haven't seen in forever are so much fun.

Some kind of corn fry snack things. I'll have to get the name off the package. They are crunch & light & 35 of them are only 120 cals.
