Ran out of bread, had to make cornbread to go with lunch. So good when hot out of the pan right to waiting plate, buttered and eaten still hot.

True that. Cold pizza is a true delicacy we learn as teenagers, turns into a food staple in late teens, early 20's, especially if living in our own apartment. Nothing better to hungry young adults on our own for quick breakfast than cold, dried pizza still in the box left out after get-together the night before! Best food there is!

My son would come in from football/soccer/basketball/track/baseball practice & grab leftover cold pizza out of the fridge & down a slice practically in one gulp to tide him over until dinner. Leftover pizza never makes it to the freezer when a young person is around. He washed it down with about a quart of milk per slice. He went through milk faster than I could buy it by the gallons.

Half a Whopper Avacado Crispy Chicken Bacon Lettuce & Tomato Sandwich on bun w/mayo, onions and hot French fries w/ketchup. Sure beats all the vegetable soups, veg dishes, fresh fruit for dessert I've eaten lately!
