Absolutely! Going to have to ask what the Kedgeree is though. I just found out what kippers really are recently. As I recall is it ?herring? that is packed in salt or something and then split open with the two halves still attached or something like that? I've already forgotten the particulars - I googled the term. I bought some in a tin once but never had the backbone to open the can and had to trash it after a year. How are kippers in a tin different from say sardines? I just love to have a Brit to ask some questions of!

Watched the last episode of Downton Abbey and thank goodness for the way it ended - not to be a spoiler! I was ready to smack both of them for being such ninnies for so long!

Tee hee! :) Kedgeree is basically undyed smoked haddock fillet, rice, eggs, onion (and a few other tasty morsels!) a good recipe is at www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/10421/kedgeree

I've never bought tinned kippers so I'm afraid I've no idea how they compare to tinned sardines...:rolleyes: :D www.kipper.co.uk

But it might be worth you having a little look on www.essentially_england.com for your devilled kidneys!!! :D x

Grrr. I can't link on the essentially england website - my IE says it can't display the page and can't diagnose the problem! I'll google it on my own and maybe get to it that way. Kedgeree sounds good! I've never had kidneys - are they really good?

Oh! It's essentially(underscore)england if that helps?!!? Some very Victorian recipes on there! :)

As for kidneys, if they're properly prepared and cooked - they're delicious! But I HATE liver :eek: What a strange English woman I am!! :D x

Coffee and strawberries.

No fever anymore sore throat and nose issues-think I must be post nasally and sore throat from breathign through my mouth all night waking up with swollen strep like feeling throat very constantly dehydrated feeling after night sweating.

Kids are like peetri-dishes sometimes-they are definitely lil carriers for all the stuff out there, almost no reason to teach them to share on some levels they already do. :o0

Derik is a cheese connoisseur of his own making. I'm a medium cheddar and colby jack girl myself-he's all about those cheese of the months clubs and rarities from any and every corner of the Earth...I'm all about refrigerator deodorizers now.

I've learned I really like to slice off all the outer layer including the white - is that stuff the pith(?), leaving just the juicy pulpy part and then slice and eat that. It is so juicy and sweet. Like eating orange juice!
