I saw a recent production of UD Version 2 where the maid - ?Jane? - is now old but back at the same place and the new family have the house restored. Is there another version after that? Oh, I hope so - I so enjoyed this year's version of UD. Loved the history of pre-WWII included in the story lines.
Just started the original series and am on Episode 4 - in black and white due to technician strikes as they say on the DVD. The first few episodes after the first are all B&W. Not Blu-Ray standards or anything like that but am enjoying the heck out of it!!! In the insert that came in the boxed set of the entire series, there are other similar series advertised. Am thinking of the Forsyte Saga as my next Brit drama. Have you seen it?
Had the last of my chicken salad yesterday(sob!!! - still craving it) and am back to just regular meals so just been having Special K bars today until dinner tonight - which might just be pizza! | Oh yes!! I know the ones you mean - but there's a whole, brand new series starting tomorrow evening on the good old BBC, in six parts woo hoo!! :) And yes, I watched the whole of The Forsythe Saga - if you like the others, you'd love this. It's very old - but I suppose it doesn't really matter with period dramas!! ;)
Enjoy your pizza! :D |
