Coupon-ers Any one on here use coupons and get really great deals at the grocery store? Want to share your ideas? I'm wanting to learn how to get $100 worth of groceries for $1.37 like I hear people do. Please share your tricks ;) |
Ihave a couple of great sites you may like. One is Wicked Cool Deals and the other is Living Rich With Coupons ? Saving You Money on Groceries and More!. Living rich, will match up deals with the local supermarkets. They are both great sites. Elaine |
You have to stockpile coupons. You can buy lots of Sunday papers, go dumpster diving to get the ones that people throw away, or you can buy them from coupon clippers on line. Then combine them with your weekly grocery ads. if you have store coupons plus manufacturer coupons, plus buy what is on sale, you can do it. but plan to make it a full time job. The people that get those deals doln;t go at it half heartedly. They treat it as a full time job. |

I've just started doing this and LOVE it. I buy 3 or 4 papers each Sunday. Clip and put in my binder. You save them for a while and will sometimes have to pull some from 2 or 3 months before. That's the key. Don't use them as soon as you get them. Match up with things on sale. I shop Kroger, CVS, and Walgreens. My best trip (and actually my 1st one) was during Kroger's mega event sale. My total before coupons and store discounts was $178. I paid $98. Nowhere near those on TLC, but good for me :) I use several sites....there are people that already match EVERYTHING for you...even tell you when the coupon came out and if there is a printable one online too. Some sites I use are: www.thebigredpot.com www.southernsavers.com Extreme Couponing - The Krazy Coupon Lady Laura Williams' Musings www.jillcataldo.com www.coupons.com Hip2Save - Not Your Grandma's Coupon Site |
Thanks everyone I'm going to give it a try |
THIS IS SO NOT FAIR!!! in Canada you can't get good coupons, they all have limits. I watch that extreme couponing show and drool! |
Some of the best coupon sites - except Canada;) The top ones, that also offer international deals and coupons include www.retailmenot.com, Free Online Coupons, Coupon Codes & Deals at Savings.com and coupons.com - i dont think they cover Canada though! |
