Help Bruce and other dogs like him...Bellevue, WA Bruce was purchased at Absolutly Puppies in Bellevue, WA...Other protesters are affraid to be there now because of their legal tactics, but Bruce and I are not so begining next week October 21st (sat & sun) Bruce and I will be on the streets explaining what absolutly puppies caused to happen to him and others and we will be there no matter what until the end of the holdiday season. So YTers in the area come and honk for support! If you are in the area that is! |
What happened to him? I've been to absolutely puppies, it's sad. |
What happened? I came close to buying a puppy from them but ended up going to a breeder instead. I live very close to Absolutely Puppies. Gracie and I will try to join you there, but I wan't to know what I am protesting! What time will you be there? |
Well apprently they have obtained an injunction from a court saying no one can protest within 100 feet, but I am also currently involved in a legal action with them, and hopefully this will go well. The blatently lied that Bruce did not come from a mill. Tracing his AKC papers he is indeed from a large commercial breeder in Missouri. They sold him to us with horrible ear infections. He had a severe jaw deffect that required several thousand dollars woth of surgery and dental work to make his mouth function properly. He has 2 luxating patellas, several allergies, and basically any problem that you would associate with milled pups. Not only that but they are rude, indignent, etc. It is the deceptive sales practices however that really are a problem and are the current angle we are pursuing... But sadly we will not be able to stop others from going in and buying pups for the holidays at this gruesome place! |
Sounds like you're doing a good job making them squirm. I admire your resolve! You are doing a good thing. |
So much for freedom of speech in this country! OK, so they have an injunction prohibiting YOU from protesting. That does not mean that others in the Seattle area cannot! I encourage anyone who is against puppy mills and pet stores selling puppies to get out there this weekend and peacefully protest your heart out. This would not be the first time that protesters were at this place! |
Is there any way you can get the local Seattle newspapers or TV stations involved? From what I remember, I saw people protesting on the sidewalks, not directly on their property. Protesting on SIDEWALKS is not allowed now? Geez... :( |
Way to go! I'm glad you are taking a stand! That is awesome! |
How did everything go? Before I got Princess I went there, and saw cute yorkies (priced REALLY high), but there were always puppies there marked with an "X" on their stomach and I asked them why and they would say "oh she/he is sick".. The woman and her daughter who work there were extremely rude too!:thumbdown Last year I saw many protestors there! Why isn't that place being shut down already? |
wow!! i cant belive this! i bought my bubbles there last august ! she was unbelivably sick when i got her too....is there anything i can do to help ?? please let me kno ~!! bubbles & krissina |

Good luck. |
Absolutely Puppies was actually featured on the news stations for having and selling sick puppies. Im so glad all this attention is being brought to them for this matter, hopefully they get shut down VERY soon. |
That's great! Thanks for the update.... |
if anybody needs references of buyers against this store, i have it on file. unforunately, cars are always there :( i heart that that land has been sold out and they will move somewhere else soon... hopefully, they will not change their name since they have a scandal reputation already. |
hmm I never saw any of the news reports. I ended up settling my claim with them, but boy oh boy was it difficult to even get them to that stage. I sincerely hope the news reports got the message out to more people. |
