Recommendations for afforable teeth cleaning places Hello all, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for vets/clinics that do teeth cleaning at a reasonable price (125 or below). my two babies are in need of a cleaning and as a broke college student I can't afford what my vet is charging. ($190) + I have 2 so yea... Any suggestions on affordable places? Thanks in advance, Rocky'sMama :) |
Go to the grocery store and get a butcher's leg bone -- and give it to the Yorkie Raw -- it cleans their teeth in no time. I usually advocate for PetzLife Dental spray but after giving my dogs bones to chew on I am changing the way we clean teeth around here. Kept my 3 happy for days and their teeth are cleaner than they ever have been. |

You can have the butcher cut them to any size you wish -- I have 2 teapots and one 6 lber -- the teapots can handle a 4-5inch bone and Lexie gets just a small bone -- they will lay for hours and hours chewing away on the bone and when they are done their teeth are nice a clean. Sometimes after they have had them for awhile I clean them off and put them into the freezer and then give them back to them in a week or so -- depending on when I think they need a little chew time. |
