Next Seattle Meetup - August 20th
 
Mark your calendars Seattle people (everyone else can book their plane tickets :) ). The next yorkie meetup is Saturday August 20th at 2pm at Magnuson Park. They have a wonderful small/shy dog area. No, I don't think they have signed up yet. I hope she remembers the website because I would love to see those two yorkies again. We have had a couple of other new members join and RSVP in the last week, so we should have a good turnout again.

Hi Bentley's mom, My name is Joan, and I have 4 Yorkies right now. I would love to bring a couple of them to the next playdate! I'm in the process of joining right now. I'm off work that weekend in August, so maybe I'll be there. I love this idea! So cute!! :D

Just curious, do you guys let your Yorkies off their leashes at these meetups? That would be a blast but probably chaotic at a public park with other dogs.

Yup, AlaskaYorkie!!! :) We're REALLY lucky to have a Small Dog/Shy Dog fenced area of the park. It's quite big (at least for our little guys) and expect when some rude person brings in a big dog (doesn't really happen), all the dogs there are at most like 20 pounds... So they all get to have a blast running around, sniffing, playing, and other things... And to top it off, it's supposed to be nice and 80 degrees today here in Seattle! WOOHOO! Heheheh...

It was awesome! A bit too hot today, but still I think 18 to 20 Yorkies showed up for our playdate! Great job again, Bentley'sMom! :)

We were there about an hour, they really need more shade at Magnuson!

What a great playdate. I just wish there were more places to sit and shade!!Its so nice to see so many yorkies!! Everyone had such cute babies!!
