LOST DOG??? Not mine..
 

Let me start out by telling you a little bit about my husky, Mosheh. Mosheh is a odd "flaming orange" husky with light blue eyes. I am sure he is not rare but he is not the light red that normally come on a husky. Anyways, I was sitting outside and here he comes walking down the street with some kids. OH MY GOSH!!! How did he get out???? I am a nervous wreck... So as the kids get closer, I realize that it is not my dog. SO the kids ask me if she is mine, I say no. They say, the neighbors say that she is yours and we want a reward. I say no my dog is a boy and he is safely tucked away in the house. The dog looks identical, except for smaller because she is a girl. Kids still insisting she is mine and they want a reward.. I of course refuse but am about ready to take the sweet little thing but I dont want her hurting GiGi. The kids go away and a few minutes later their mother comes down and insist i give her children a reward for finding my dog!!!! What is wrong with people.. SHE calls the police and animal control. Nothing happen, they talked to a couple of my neighbors to confirm that the dog was not mine!!! Anyway just needed to vent about the stupidity of people who expect something for just helping someone out!!

Wow. What's she teaching her kids there? Not to do the right thing unless you get something out of it? Some people!

I live right in the city so I am surprised mom was even home to teach them their 'lesson" in humanity

I thought just showing them mosheh would confirm but then they said SHE HAS To be mine because they are identical!!! Good lord my house would be full of dogs if I had to adopt everyone that look like my dogs!!

That was MY thought exactly! See, this is one of the reasons YT is so great. I think I can safely say an extremely high percentage of YTers would have brought the dog, thinking it was yours, and expecting nothing. Then, realizing the mistake, apologized and continued to try and find the rightful owner.

But that's YT. Unfortunately, it's not the world at large ...
