Cream colored miniature poodle
 
I'm not sure if this is where to post this.

My niece is looking for a Cream colored miniature poodle.

Do any of you breeders have poodles, or does anyone know of poodle breeders, in the midwest, that have the cream color.

I believe they are called "apricot" (which is the white with little tinges of apricot on the tips) or "white". You're probably meaning the apricot. Sorry, can't help you on where to find one though. I had a red toy poodle for 15 years before getting Tatum...... he was one of a kind! Miss him so much. Good luck!

Can't help either..........yes, they are apricot color :)

I have a black girl myself. I know Jenn218 has been looking for a while but in black............maybe she knows of apricot colored poodles?

Wow, your little girl is VERY black! Really pretty! I had originally looked for a black but was afraid that a black puppy would turn gray or silver. I fell in love with a little red one - a boy at that! I was looking for a black girl and fell in love with this red boy...... he was the love of our life! I had never heard of a "red" poodle before that. I grew up with a miniature apricot one. The poodle breed is very, very smart!

We also got Daxton groomed with a little bit shorter cut on his ears so they were kinda bobbed right at the chin. It kept him looking more "puppy" I think.

Thank you! She is very black but the flash makes her look grayish at times......besides her skin color is very light pink and she is shaved on the body ;)

Her groomer has a chocolate (red) standard poodle..........it really reminds you of a Hershey's bar........so precious! I really fell in love with her dog. Yes, poodles are extremely smart. They are one of the smartest breeds.........so much fun to own :p

This is her with a little longer coat...........she's pitch black..........lol

...........Forgot to mention, she was of a littler of 5 girls no boys. One white and 4 black. The father was black and mom gray. All of them stayed in my family (cousins and aunts).........so we still keep in touch. None of the others stayed black. Funny thing is that Melody was the one no one else chose so I took her.........:D

There is a difference between chocolate and red, though. I love the chocolate color ones too. Daxton was a copper penny red color. It's not one you see often.

Yes, but this one has a chocolate body and red ears(sorta like streaks).........so she's chocolate-red to me ;)

I gotcha! That sounds pretty cute! I thought your were saying that chocolate is also red. My bad!
