RIP brothers and sisters 3 Attachment(s) Okay, after looking through some old pictures to find one of Sassy (the cat we used to have) for Shana.....I found some that I wanted to share! I hope no one cares for me sharing them...... These pictures are of some of our beloved pets that we have lost and that Mojo never knew. Attachment 83234 This first picture is of Bruno (named by Katelyn when she was little after the hound dog on Cinderella). He was a black lab, loved Katelyn and loved to go for rides in the Jeep. The first picture is when he got a broken leg (drunk driver hit him, but stopped to let us know) and one of him and Katelyn in the Jeep. Attachment 83235 More of Bruno - black labs are so hard to photograph because well, they are soo dark! We had him when we lived in our first house and he was dognapped and we never found him. Attachment 83236 These are of Chief - our big yellow lab. We got him from our friend, who at the time was a vet.....he was brought in w/ a broken leg and the owner didn't want him anymore because of it. My friend, knowing what an animal lover I am, gave him to me to care for. We had him for about 5 years (he was about 2-3 when we got him). He was my DH shop buddy, Jeep buddy, etc. He was HUGE - 116pounds when he passed away. Broke our hearts, my DH to this day, is still not sure about other dogs ever being his shop buddy - although, Rusty is getting pretty close to him! |
one more 3 Attachment(s) These pictures are of the first "little" dog I have ever had. He was a rescue Shih-tzu that had medical problems when I got him.....but, I thought I could "save the world" back then and just knew I could save him. He was sooo sick, but a cutie nontheless! I think he was 2 or 3 when I got him and he lived for about 2 years w/ us. We spent sooo much money trying to help him become healthy, but he had so many issues. I really dislike the lady we rescued him from........she had sooooooo many of these little guys living in such poor conditions and all were just filthy and mangy!!! Horrible!!! Attachment 83241 Here is Buddy at Christmas time! You can pretty much tell that he was never feeling very well! Poor baby! Attachment 83242 Here he is in Fall pictures! You can tell, we really loved him (being our first little dog) and even though he was constantly sick, we didn't care. Attachment 83243 Here are some misc....pictures of him. The one w/ the yellow cast around his ribs was taken when my MIL horse "rolled" him or something - broke his ribs! Oh, and a birthday picture! Thanks for letting me share......it is nice to look back over the pictures! RIP to them all! |
Thank you for sharing. You can just see the love flowing....... May they rest in peace. |
aww. They were all so beautiful. How horrible that Bruno was dognapped....that's terrible. :( I'm sorry for all of your losses. |
Awwww....thanks! I have to admit, I did get teary-eyed when we were looking through them and talking about them! It was nice to see the pictures again though! I just wanted to share them w/ my YT family! Megan - yes that is horrible! We have always lived out in the country, but at the time we had Bruno, we lived closer to "town" and there were ads in the papers, etc about dognappers, etc. You never think that will happen and then when it does, you know..........I just hope he "went" fast! Course, we do not know for sure if someone just wanted him for their pet or what. You just never know w/ people anymore! |
