A maltese haircut. Tinkerbells brother... Chiquito!! 4 Attachment(s) Here is Chiquito, he is a maltese but recently I cut his hair. I live here in Korea and I saw a couple of maltese with this same cut and they did look cute to me but now that my Chiquito has this haircut he looks so different. I am going to grow it out now. |

1 Attachment(s) He looks a little nekked! THat looks a lot like this cut but with facial hair and topknot. I am considering doing a little longer version with my maltese. I think the big difference is the facial hair. |
you have to try some styles on your dog before you know what you like. i got my yorkie a schnauzer cut and had them do the face too, but hated it. no one knew he was my yorkie! i do like the schnauzer body tho. is it sunny where you are? i know this sounds rediculous (maybe) use some sunscreen!! i had some neighbors who shaved their lab and the poor thing got a sunburn! |

Ouch! With all due respect, that poor baby could be the Poster Child for "What Not To Do To a Maltese". I'm not trying to be harsh, but I just don't get it, and I'm certain he doesn't either. |

I think he still looks adorable.. hair or no hair! :wub: And it's just hair, it will grow back. I'm a fan of a puppy cut on Maltese... after having mine in a long coat for a while I won't do it again because it was torture on him to be groomed for an hour everday. I had to have Tuffy stripped a few months ago because he just got really matted beyond repair after being boarded briefly. It was shocking at first to see him sooooo short.. he looked a lot like Chiquito. But in a few weeks his hair started to come in again and he looked adorable and that's the length I try to keep him in. :wub: |
Hello all, I think you all are right, he is cute to me no matter what :) But he does need his hair back, I didn't think it was going to look so bad :eek: :eek: . The vet said I should shave Tinkerbell :aimeeyork the same way as Chiquito :eek: , I told him NO WAY. I think I do like that cute picture of the maltese with a short cut but my Chiquito was beyond short :eek: . He will grow a beautifull coat again :D |
