Getting a Dental and some other things Magic is going in Wed next week, if his blood work comes back good, for a dental, a prostate exam, sebaceous cysts examination, ear cleaning. He has never been fully under before. But I hope all goes well. He is a big boy, and his breed doesn't have as far as I know, problems with sedation. Fingers XXX and toes too XXX |
I'll be praying for Magic and for you on Wednesday! I know how worrisome these things are, we've had a few things to worry about too. Blessings! One question though, you mention the "breed" not having many problems. What breed is Magic? Just wondering. |

I will keep Magic in my prayers. He is gorgeous and so impressive. |
Praying for Magic. I'm sure he will do very well, but I know you will be relieved and happy to have the big day over with, and to have him back home again. |
Thanks Kristin, It is a go. I got the bloodwork back, and Dr Jack says he is with-in normal in all parameters. |
Awesome! My two boys just went for dentals last week. I am trying to brush daily to keep them sparkly clean. We had no extractions so we were very happy :) Good luck magic! |

Wonderfull for your two boys. Magic has two rear molars with some tartar build up. But it will be good to do the de-scaling on all his teeth! |

I'm so glad that Magic's blood work is good. I have been thinking a lot about you and Magic. I will be there with both of you tomorrow in spirit, and I can't wait until you have your big boy home with you after it's all over with. As always, you do your very best to educate yourself and are such a loving, devoted, pet owner. We learn so much from each other here on YT, and we as a community have learned so much from you. |
Gail, thinking of you and Magic today. I know you will be happy when he is back home this evening, showing off his sparkling clean teeth. |
Thanks Lisa and Kristin; And now the wait is on. THey said they would call be about 3 30 after they make sure he comes out of sedation okay, and is ready to go home. He will be famished by then. You know it is hard not to worry. But this reminds me of the expression, Let go and Let God do it. So I have sent my prayers and light up. I'll let you know how it all turns out. And maybe a tooth pic!;) |
It's such a great feeling to get this behind you. Cali had her teeth cleaned and a lip growth removed last week. She came home at 4 and ate right away. They have amazing resilience. |

We are home! Magic took a bit longer to come out of sedation. And I had to question everything on the bill, before I paid it, so all in all we got home later than expected. Perfectly clean bill of health. No tooth extractions. I ask Doc Jack if something I should be doing better, he said no. Your boy has excellent strong teeth and healthy gums. Do what you are doing. Prostate good. Urine collected so I need to wait on analysis. Actually some blips in blood work, which I did not see till after I paid bill and Dr Jack was in with another client. Sebaceous cysts removed, we sent for analysis. Ears cleaned. Magic is still even now very groggy. At least another 12 hours before he gets alert again. |
