Great Well we have farm cats. And believe people add to our population all the time. They are mostly wild. They will get pretty close but you can not pet. So I come home from work last night and everyone came to eat But one I call Zoey. I have a small wooden box house on my deck one or two can fit in. ( we have a barn they all sleep in) Well she was having babies. So it's suppose to be 16 degrees last night. I come in and say I can not leave them outside. One was dead. Two were okay and she was having the fourth. I spooked her so that one was born in the snow :(. Got all the babies inside. Dh holding to warm up. And start the processed of catching her. I have one cat I can pet and she went into the cage and momma cat followed. She is hissing at me but will let me pet her. This is a picture of the happy family this am http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/...66d760de83.jpg |
Awwww she looks like my Snuggles did. So glad you got them inside. |
Awww! Great job Mama ;) |

Well happy to say all three and momma are doing great http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/...e02aa2947d.jpg |
Wow! They sure did grow fast! Glad to know they're all doing well :) |
Adorable ! Now that you have her cought it would be a good idea to spay her.;) |
adorable! awesome of you to put her up and help her take care of those precious babies! i would def look into a local shelter/rescue that offers those $20 spay programs for feral/wild cats. there are a few by me who do so. hope all keeps going well with these babies! |
Everyone is doing great 3 weeks old today. I sure wish we had a place that did 20 spays I would not hesitate. But they are all over 100 around here. Dh has not worked for a year and a half so at this point not an option. Shelters have so many cats. I am trying to find them all new homes. At least these ones I caught. |
Looks like a very happy family! So glad you were able to offer help. Blessings! :cat: |
Thank you so much for saving them. I have 4 cats, my two youngest were feral kittens. it breaks my heart how much people just throw them away just because they are cats. I would contact your vet. Sometimes they would do spays for free for ferals. Also contact TARA they do spays and sometimes do for free. |
Also, contact your local shelter & ask if they do low cost spay/neuter & some rescues give vouchers for a % off a spay/neuter. |
