Oh, Kat, he is totally beautiful - exotic and awesome! What a lovely animal! I fell totally in love looking at each of his pictures. Looks like he's straight out of the jungle! Wow. His coat and markings and rich colors are striking. What is that - a smokey rich tan base color? It is georgeous. I'm so impressed with this lovely boy and pray that his shot and Rx make him feel better overnight and that he's well soon. Hopefully the big guy just has an irritation and nothing more is going on with him. | Thanks Jeanie. His coat is like silk. When he first came here to live, he was almost all black, very hard to see his spots. As he became more comfortable, his coat lightened up... like a mood kitty! Do a search for Bengals on YouTube. People make large running wheels for them, and they reccommend getting a cat tree to keep them happy, as they like to be up high. He's an F1, supposed to be calm and big. Other generations get smaller and wackier, lol. Quote:

Many moons ago I had cats and remember something like that happening to one of my boys. If I remember correctly, I had to change cat foods, because there was too much ash in the one I was giving to my cats. Honestly, I am not up on cat health right now, so is ash in the food still a concern or has that been fixed through the years? | Thanks, Lisa! That's exactly what I was thinking, but the vet just called and said it was most likely stress (?) but that no crystals were seen, so no diet change yet. Recheck in 3 weeks. |
