Thank you Ann and Patti:) She is doing soooo much better just with the UTI meds. I feel bad to think she had it for longer than I knew:( I am glad she is doing better. I hope in the next week she will start the medicine for Cushings. I will keep everyone posted;)
| I can definitely tell you that I've seen/read so many threads here where a UTI diagnosis was evasive bc the symptoms were vague or odd. Even w/ people who are SO on top of their dog's healthcare (just like you are) have a delayed diagnosis from the vet of a UTI, for various and valid reasons. Plus, it gets more confusing bc dogs mask things so well at times.
Don't beat yourself up, she gets such incredible care! I do know how you feel though...I've missed so many things w/ my babies, things I couldn't put my finger on - and afterward felt so bad! Btw, I can't remember if I told you via our PMs that Wylie's Cushings was misdiagnosed by his vet for over a YEAR :mad:. She kept telling me that his symptoms were nothing. |
