Cats... So, I've been thinking that maybe (emphasis on the maybe) I might be invited at some point in the near future to move in with my bf...again, it's still a maybe, he has been hinting at it, though that could just me being a woman and reading the wrong signals...anyway, my yorkie Rizzo get's along well with both cats, my bf has one and I have one, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice about moving both cats into one apartment when they've both been only cats for a while. They are both males, mine is neutered and my bf's is still young probably about 5 months old now but will be neutered in the near future. I'm worried that the cats wont get along if we do move in together, since my cat has just grown tolerant of my dog (never acted aggressive, just lots of ignorning of him and me!) This is just a primitive question so I can prepare just in case, so if anyone has any advice for bringing two single cats together and having a happy, non-cat fight home I would appreciate it. |
Its the older cat that may have the problem with the kitten. They may get along they may not it just depends on their personality. I have one that likes to be the lone cat and we took in a stray that had kittens. Miracles hisses and growls at all of them. No cat fights though but I doubt she will ever get along with them and stop the hissing. In the past Ive had cats and never had a problem when adding another so thats why I say it all depends on their personality |
