Some of you have heard the story of our rescued cocker/bishon mix Rosey for you that didnt i'll tell you the story of my pet store dog

We used to have a pet store in our mall called scamps I always went in there before I had any of my own dogs they sold " designer hybrids" for hundreds of dollars and akc pure breeds for even more ide always walk by wishing for a dog and shaking my head at the prices

Well one day I walked past the cages and looked in and saw this little white fluff her card read 800 crossed out 500 crossed out FREE
well i asked the attendent why she was free she said she was adopted but was an owner return because she was DEAF!! I turn back to the poor pup thinking well all my dogs are trained with hand signs anyway so why not this girl. As im thinking i over hear the lady beside me talking to her friend about the dog being on her farm with the tractors and trucks!!!!!!!
well that was it I marched up to the atendent and said I think ide like to adopt that deaf dog please. well what a look i got i was only about 20 at the time and she said ...you understand shes gonna need extra work right i said yes now get my dog please filled out the paper work and took her home well i get this poor little pup home and IF SHES DEAF IM THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND she just a ditzy pup and dosent come when called she had her ears cleaned REALLY well by the vet and has nevcer looked back

5 years later Rosey is my nieces dog and BEST FRIEND and is she deaf not one bit stupid pet store people gave away an 800 dollar dogs because they didnt care enough to have her vet checked when returned
