A couple of pictures of my two other loves 3 Attachment(s) I have had my Cockatiels for 8 years now. I got them because I never wanted anything I could get attached to, Wrong! These two are real sweethearts and love them both. |
They are so pretty! What are their names? xxx |
Thank you! :) The pied is Sunny and the cinnamon one is Storm, both are males. |
They are both lovely - I love their names:) My SIL used to have one called Bubbles....went she went on her honeymoon her brother came round and painted the living room as a surprise for when she got back - he didnt even think about how the fumes would affect Bubbles and sadly she died:( When she was alive she would sit on my SIL shoulder while she did the washing up! She had two staffordshire Bull Terriers too and Bubbles would sit on their heads - they were completely unfazed by it! What does your furbaby think of her feathered friends? xxx xxx |
cute! |
Ha, I know where you're coming from. We've had a macaw for 14 years who we consider family -- the loud, annoying family member, but family nonetheless! :p And we have a budgie we rescued from a tree who survived one escape from our home and an ornery magpie. Both are happy and healthy. They do become part of the "flock." |
They are both so beautiful. I have always wanted to have a bird. And of course hubby wants one that can talk like an african grey! But for me I think the Cockatiels are just so beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing!!!:) |

Thanks for the nice comments on my feathered babies. I'm so sorry about Bubbles, she sounds like she was a real sweetie and love her name. Yes, bird are so sensitive to fumes. Bella doesn't pay any attention to the birds although we don't allow them out unless she is in her x pen, I'm just on the cautious side. I believe Bella feels the birds throw her treats (bird seed) so they must be good for something LOL. |

That they are and can become very much a part of the family. It's amazing how smart they are. I always wondered what it would be like to have a magpie?:) We had a White Capped Pionus parrot for many years and lost him to aspergillosis. Birds do end up having a special place in your heart. |
