Designer a la Biewer??? 3 Attachment(s) I would like people to be aware of the look alike Biewers. Some people claiming to be artistically breeding Biewers should be asked to produce DNA parentage on the dogs back to the dogs that were brought over from Germany. I'm not saying that all breeders that get a rare color are mixing dogs, just that DNA parentage should be provided. I feel if a person is asking $4,000.00 to $5,000.00 a puppy, then they can afford to spend a couple of hundred dollars in testing. What do you think of these little beauties? If you would like to see some fine examples of Shorkies, I believe Jeff Dane would be more than happy to send you picutres. See attachments. Rare color?? Nice $4,000.00 chocolate Biewer???? Don't forget the $4,000.00 gold! |
I don't know a lot about Biewers but, these look like mixes to me. |
That is sad -- those poor puppies!!! |
$5000.00 for a mixed breed puppy...OMG... Jeff Dane is a shyster and a KOOK!!!...:thumbdown Poor little puppies... |
I think biewers are beautiful but I dont like the looks of the chocolate ones but thats just mho. |
What's really sad is the IBC is registering these dogs as Biewers. There are breeders in the states that are breeding designer dogs and trying to tell people that they are Biewers. If you're buying a Biewer, you should make sure it's registered in the States with a reputable registry, and CKC is not one of them. |
They all look mixed breed to me. They are definitely not well bred Biewer...... |
1 Attachment(s) I didn't think they look like a Biewer at all. The first looks much like a Maltese/Yorkie or Morkie as some call them. Our Tia is a Morkie. We didn't buy her from a breeder or store. We got her second hand out of the classifieds. This is Tia. Elaine |

The one you are talking about is the conintenal one that will register anything that has fur and looks like it could be a dog. They registar mill dogs all the time. and are know for that. If you buy from a reputable breeder in the first place and not the likes of Danes or his kind you should be ok and I say should be. As for DNA on dogs well that should not need to happen again if you buy from a reputable breeder. JL |
