Mats in cats 1 Attachment(s) Hi, everyone. D'art my other kitty. He's got long hair and he's got some mats on his back. Any one have any ideas on how to get them out. Here's a pic of him, don't let his face fool you, I call him a little demon sometimes. lol |
They need to be brushed out Carefully. If they are to the skin They need to be shaved. Cat's like that need's to be brushed daily. |
Double post sorry. |
Yes, I was thinking I might have to shave the mats. And daily brushings I know, they love being brushed. |
can you find a groomer in your area that does cats? they will more likely be able to get the mats out without shaving. sometimes its just dead hair and will come out with a bath and a high velocity drier. i'd check with them first. whatever you do, do not try to cut them out yourself. |
hmm how about the furminator |
