Black russian terrier puppies!!! 1 Attachment(s) Arrived on the 11th of December! I'm just now finding time to get back on YT to share the great news! :) My bitch "Trinity" had a litter of 8, 6 males and 2 females. First time mom is doing quite well and seems to love her new task at raising these pups. I've already removed their dew claws and tails, if you see a small gauze bandage in the pic, that's what you're seeing. |
They're adorable! Thanks for sharing! I'd love to watch them grow:D |
Awww, they're beautiful! I know nothing about this breed - could you post a picture of an adult? I'd love to see what they look like. Congratulations on your new healthy babies and Mama. |
Congrats! They are beautiful. |
Thanks a bunch! ;) They're growing like weeds, as puppies do, and I'll begin thier environmental exposure here soon (textured surfaces, noises, touch...), I love this part of it all! Some of the best pictures are too large to post here, and if I had more time at the moment, I'd resize them, but alas I do not. Here are a few web sites you can visit to see more of them- Dam's call name is "Trinity"- www.chicagolandboard.com On that site, near the top, you should see a post regarding Black Russian Terriers or BRT's for short...it's inendated with photos of the pups as well as the sire and dam. Here's a link to the dams pedigree on dogterminal.com- Dogterminal: Black Terrier: ROGNEDA Iz Knjazhego Grada : show dogs: all breeds photos, pedigrees, titles, puppies Here's another link for her on pedigreedatabase.com-http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dogs/black_russian_terrier/classifieds/4743.html The BRT really is a very fun breed to live with, I believe I'll always have an Akita, a BRT and a Yorkshire Terrier. My home is comprised of all three breeds right now and it's heaven. ;) |
Here ya go! |
They are adorable! |
They are beautiful . Thank you for sharing . |
Wow!! What a bunch of little sweethearts. :) |
Come see the BRT puppies! :) Well, they're 3.5 weeks now! I've loaded some new pics on a thread if you wanna go see them! www.chicagolandboard.com |
Your post on chicagolandboard.com made me laugh. Don't know how you get any laundry folded. I'd just want to sit and play with those cuties. Thanks for sharing. ~Joanne~ |
ha ha, Joanne, that's exactly what I did after I managed to get it all folded! One of my boys and one of the girls are going to the UK in February and I'm going to miss them most because I can't keep tabs on them as easy as I could if they were stateside. I'm enjoying what time I have with them! :) |
They are really beautiful and LARGE!!!! I've never seen that breed before - thanks for the links. :) |
They really are a diverse breed. If it weren't for their coat, you'd see more of them I'm sure of it. They're great for police work, service work, therapy dogs, obedience competition....pets, the list goes on. Mine live around such a diversity of animals, it's ridiculous just how clear headed they are around these other animals. They're careful around the Yorkies too, yet can still play with them despite their size. They just usually lay down and let the yorkies run all over them, bite at their beards.....it's quite cute. Yet they can have that aggressive side to them too when merited. Not for everyone, but rather easy to get used to reading them and being able to handle all aspects that encompass owning a BRT. |
