Saltwater enthusiasts look here! 4 Attachment(s) I know there are a few on here that have fish tanks like ours. My brother's GF came over last night with her DSLR to take pics of our tank. Thought I'd share somewith you and see if anyone else has some pics to share! Enjoy! Attachment 249375 see Tina in the corner? Attachment 249376 a few random corals Attachment 249377 some orange mushrooms Attachment 249378 our blue jawed trigger is quite a fast swimmer, so he is hard to catch in focus... |
How pretty!!! I really admire anyone who can keep an aquarium going and healthy. Even a fresh water one was too hard for me! Salt water must really be a lot of work! Very pretty fish, plants, etc.! Thanks for sharing with us! |
So prettttty!! And here I was all proud of myself for my 2 gallon freshwater ...baby steps :D |
I am so jealous, I have wanted a saltwater one for years, but its all I can do to keep my fresh water one going. Its beautiful you should be so proud, I have had a lot of friends that have tried but didn't do so well, so I am alittle scare to invest so much into one, if its hard to do.:) |
Yeah, it is really hard to do. I have had this tank for over a year, and we have had our share of heartaches. It is so sad when you lose fish and corals. I feel so guilty when anything dies, but that is just what happens a lot of the time. I have learned so much in the last year, and have had so many people in the area help me out with it. I do feel very accomplished but I also still feel like a novice when I see some other people's tanks. I worked hard to get it where it is but still have a long ways to go. Thank you everyone for your kind compliments! It has taken tons of brain power and hours elbow deep in saltwater to get the tank where it is today! |
Great tank, I'll have to show my son when he gets home:thumbup: |
Beautiful! I just love fish. We also tried with freshwater fish and that was a lot of work so decided that the saltwater would be out of the question. Thanks for sharing. |
Thanks all! It is easier to keep saltwater here in TX because I never have to heat my tank. It doesn't get cold enough here for the tank to drop below 79 degrees. It is harder keeping it cool in the summer. A lot of people have saltwater tanks in TX because of that. |
Lauren - that tank is awesome!!! I have always wanted a salt water tank with a colorful reef, fan coral and a lion fish!!!!! |
