Omg soo sorry for that tragic accident I have 3 cats. I love them all dearly. My heart aches for you. My cats are house cats, but they occasionally sneak out, when the door is open. My mom let one of mine out while house/pet sitting...lost for 5 hours . I was on vacation...ruined my whole time. He went up a tree and never came down until she shook a treat bag of food. LOL I wish you and your new little one a long life of love and fun. RIP my sweet feline friend. Take Care and post more pics. Beautiful color!:D |
2 Attachment(s) We got a feral kitten and tried to make it a house cat but it didn't work. Our Callie is 11 now and comes home to eat everyday. Our other cat got out after three years in the house and didn't come around for two months now he comes home to eat only too. He is 9 years old. I don't have the best of luck with cats staying indoors. First picture is Callie and second is Tom. I'm sorry you lost your baby. |

Indoor cats just wait for that open door don't they ! My Siamese were the same.....and you end up chasing them everywhere to catch them again...and they are sooo fast ! The only one I had no bother with was a Persian...he was quite happy inside....but funnily enough Alfie my daughter's cat is half persian and he is the same...though he has started to venture into our back garden when he sees an open door...Lucifer got him outside with him...now he looks for him(even though he cleaned his dead body)...but Alfie is a cripple, so can't go far.....I got him from the sspca like that....he has no hip joint after they found him run down...but at least he lived...unlike my Lucifer...but then Lucifer was a very small cat...and that didn't help ! 1. Alfie below 2. Alfie 3 and Sparky 12 3. Lucifer in last pic. RIP - makes me cry to look at his picture |
I am so sorry for the loss of sweet Lucifer. He reminds me of my cat Muffin - I got her when I was 3 and we had to rehome her last year during our move. Not the same as what happened to you, but I do understand some of your pain. Congratulations on Lucas! He is precious! :) |
Thanks Megan...done that too and that is very hard as well...helps that you know they are happy though ! Just keep thinking about them being happy. ....Worse when they are so young and you've just been speaking to them and then have to lift them warm off the road, and your other cats clean them trying to get them living again....just sickening....life is not nice sometimes ! I don't like to think what I'd do to the creep who left him there....thank heavens a nice girl came and told me....his name and address was there to see on his reflective collar...the least the car driver could have done was come and tell me what had happened....shame on him/her. As for sweet Lucas ! He is at the biting, chewing and scratching stage, but is forgiven when he snuffles your nose and purrs all night ha ha;) |
2 Attachment(s) So sorry for your loss. I have two indoor cats, as a child we lose two many cats to cars. There are so many crazy people that try to hit cats I won't take a chase letting them out. Your Lucifer reminds me of our Sparrow she is 1 1/2 yrs my little one is Jasper 4months. |
1 Attachment(s) Wow they are identical ! Lets hope yours never gets out then ! After the road Lucifer got mowed down on there is 160 miles of nothing but hills ! Jasper is a cutie too....love the stripes ! Here is Lucas today ha ha ! Lovvies, Debra x x x x ;) |

But i took offence you pretty much are saying my cat had a horrible 20 year's You can have your opinion But please don't be rude about it I wasn't Rude to you I just said my Opinion. My cat's have a great Life & they Died of OLD age. Not many people Neutered Outside male cat's That's why i mentioned it. There are ways to have a cat still get outside air, They make cat runs & leashes. |
