Calling all MORKIE owners... I know there are many on this site. ;) Just curious as to what your Morkie weighs? Can you put their age at the time of weighing? Thanks. My Morkie weighed approx. 3lbs at 12 weeks. He goes to the vet tomorrow for an accurate weight check. |
I have a Maltese/Yorkie. Tia is going to be 3 yrs. old this March. She weighs 4 lbs. The thing you have to remember is that no one Morkie is a like. They are mixes and they grow up to all look differently and weigh differently. Also, for anyone looking for this mix please don't buy from a breeder. Look into rescue. These are not "Designer Dogs" They are just a mixed pup with a fancy lable and a high price. Please don't take offense to this. I LOVE Tia but I do hate to see them purposely bred and given a fancy name then sold for so much money when there are so many mixes readily available in shelters and rescues. By the way Tia is a good example. We got her out of our local newspaper from a woman who did not want her anymore. Elaine |

Did you know that there is a sister sit to Yorkietalk called Maltesetalk. There are many member that have Morkies and they are very welcoming to mixes. :) I post there some time and they are VERY NICE and accept my Morkie and my Yorkie too. |
Lucas weighed @ 4 months: 3.30 lbs @ 5.5 months: 4.20 lbs He's a little over six months now and i think he's somewhere in the 4-5 ld range, but need to get an accurate weighing done. .. |

2 Attachment(s) I have to take a new picture for 7 weeks. I weighed him today but he tries to jump out of the scale that it varies. He's almost 2 lbs at 7 weeks old. These pictures were last week. sadie morkipoo my sadie is a morkie poo half maltese half yorkipoo.2 yrs old. she weighs 7 lbs, but needs to lose a pound.. she eats like she is pregnant..but is on a diet.. even though she is a tubby right now, we love her very much..:) |

my little girl is almost a year and half and tops out at 7 lbs (: she did just get spayed a week ago and weighed less then 6 and half pounds today ): I'm trying to get her weight back up though |
Well, Elvira was 1.2 pounds at 10 weeks, she is 14 pounds at 2 years. Yes, 14. She is overweight the vet said by 2 pounds, so "we" are on a diet, but she is a beautiful girl, and I wouldn't trade her for anything. I'll admit I didn't expect her to be this large, but I didnt' want one under 5 pounds either, so I'm happy. |
I know this is for Morkie owners but I just had to say that all these Morkies are so cute!!! I have a Maltese and a Yorkie and you get both of these great dogs in one. Very beautiful babies!!! |
