gus gus i wanted to start a post for yorkipoos. in memory of the best yorkipoo ever.. he may be going to his forever home soon. and he will be missed. he is my avatar the healthiest, happiest, noisiest, most snuggly, smartest, loving puppy ever. i will miss you gus..:aimeeyork |
gus gus gus was picked up today by his new daddy for an overnight.. then he will be neutered on wednesday and go to his new home after he heals.. i guess 7-10 days.. but it was funny because the new owner.. the father.. looks like gus.. small and has sandy hair.. i think they are a perfect match.. and 2 boys were happily surprised by their new puppy...i am so thankful for this match.. it is a great home in a great neighborhood.. gus will have a great life.. much better than i can give him..god answered my prayer again.. i know i wont have to worry about him being happy.. i know he will be..:) |

Poor Gus, he must have been a little scared and confused in his new home. Hopefully they find him soon. |

Oh dear. I hope whoever found Gus - and someone surely must have - will return him to his new home or to you so you can get him there. Poor little fella. I hope he will be just fine and was just a little discombobulated!:confused: |
if he is returned, i will keep him.. but he is too cute, and everyone i talk to seems to agree that someone has him, and is keeping him..it was a great neighborhood in canfield.. and he is a people puppy, so i can only pray that he is in a loving home.. but praying to get him back.. i have to keep positive thoughts or i start crying again..hind sight is 20/20:animal-pa |
gus update there have been numerous calls about gus.. i am passing flyers and i believe he will be captured and returned.. he is in the woods in canfield and travellling a route daily.. making friends along the way.. still praying for my gus gus to be safe..:animal36 |

sunday in the woods i hope we can find him today. we are going into the woods.. pray that he finds us.. gus was seen by about ten people who called me.. i passed more flyers.. lots of people are looking along the woods and stream that goes through canfield.. posted flyers at all the churches too.. keeping positive and hopeful for a reunion.. |

gus is found thank you god, jesus, st. anthony, and all the people who helped and prayed.. my gus gus is back with us.. found in the backyard of a home right e=where we were looking.. home and ok.. he was matted and dirty, hungry and tired.. but safe again... i will take him to the vet tomorrow.. i had to cut a lot of fur.. and his skin was red.. i poured hydrocortisone on, and it helped a lot.. i am so happy right now..:) |
I'm glad Gus was found. :) Safe and sound and just a wee bit dirty from his adventure. Is he going back to family's house? |
no way.. gus belongs with us.. he is my dog now and forever.. this experience has been life changing.. i will let him mend for a few weeks and get neutered i will keep 2 boys and 3 girls.. 6 days of pain and misery ended today my tears are now tears of joy and gratitude his skin is still sore.. but the third bath and more scissors has helped. but the royal jelly liquid REALLY helped.. i had jafra royal jelly serum.. i am going th have to use clippers to cut his hair ALL short.. gonna wait a bit.. poor gus gus.. i think he will sleep good now.. he really was covered in stuff..make sure you tighten those harnesses good..:) |
gus is better i am so happy gu s was found sunday morning by a nice older couple in their backyard by the creek.. and in the woods.. we were 2 blocks away walking the shoreline.. poor guy smelled so bad, and was clearly suffering from the matts of things in his fur.. but he is eating and playing again today.. he was so tired on sunday.. 500 flyers and 6 days later with very little sleep.. but i am so grateful and thankful he will look funny with short hair.. but im going to get him some cute tshirts:) |
poor guy gus has open areas around his tail.. cleaning frequently.. def going to the vet hes eating like a king, chewing bones again, and barking.. but he has nightmares at night a little. loose stools are better today, but he was gone 6 days with no food.. thank god we found him when we did.. im giving pain med too.. he may need a cone if he wont leave his tail alone |

I am so glad that Gus was found. What a scary time for all. Some dogs will go to extreme lengths to get their moms and dads to listen. What the poor kid went through to help you understand that he wanted to stay with you :D. Good luck to both of you :) He is a real cutie pie!! |

gus is better..but the vet put him on oral cortizone for his injuries. he has a shaved back and tail..using special cleanser and creme from dr. coby. for his open areas.. almost back to his old self ..... starting fights with everyone.. stealing bones and begging for attention.. he is scheduled for neutering on sept 5th.. hopefuly this will help his temperament.. its truly a miracle we got him back:) |
there is a price on this guys head.. i lost 3 days work. and spent lots of money on finding him in gas and flyers.. so having a huge garage sale.. gonna sell everything thats not nailed down...lol.. minus about $850...:eek: having dogs can lead to bankruptsy i think...:) |
