| yesenia83 | 04-19-2008 04:15 PM | Need to rehome my 2 cats. I've been trying to find a home for my cats for 3 1/2 months and have had no luck. So I'm hoping to find them a new mommy/daddy here. They don't have to be together b/c they really don't get along.
This is an ad I posted on Craigslist and i also have put ads in Petfinder. I figured I'd just copy/paste instead of rewriting everything again.
"Before I get emails on being a cruel person for rehoming my cats after the amount of time I've had them, Please bear in mind no one can predict what may happen in years to come. My reason are health and daily life related and have made a hard attempt to live with them for as long as I have. At this point its best to place them in a home where they can get the attention they deserve. My first one is Bopper, a 6 year old Tortoiseshell/Domestic long hair, spayed, front declawed( when it was done I was unaware to how its was done), She is affectionate but loves her alone time. Will come when called and can be very silly when wanting attention. She is 12lbs and average size. My second girl is Buttons, 19 months old Domestic short haired tabby, gray with white belly and paws. Spayed, Not declawed, She is 8lbs and is on the small size but has a little extra baggage in her mid section. Very playful, thrives on attention, gives kisses when asked and stretches on command. Both girls have been exposed to dogs, Buttons likes to play with dogs more than Bopper. However, Bopper used to have a best friend who is no longer with us and he was a ferret. They would be better suited for a home with no small children as we have no children and it may make them skittish/scared.
While I do want to rehoming them , if you don't meet the following requirements please do not reply because I will not entertain scammers and such. Must have 3 references, prior pet ownership, a vet and the vet office location as i will follow through with checking on them. Proof that you can have pets in your residence. There is a adoption fee and that will be disclosed to serious inquiries only. You also need to have a job for more than 1 1/2 years because pets are a financial obligation as well."
The adoption fee isn't outrageous under $60.00. |
