I have wanted a Sphinx since before I had my daughter! I have been inlove with the breed forever! But I have never been in the position to own one. :( My first hubby was like "GROSS! H@#$ NO!" and then my cutrrent hubby was always convinced that he could NEVER live with a cat... So we have never had cats... :(

well, a while back, my daughter suffered the loss of her hairless pet rat Grace. (yes, hairless is a theme we gravitate towards) When she lost grace she became very depressed as grace was a best friend to Kate. She longed for a pet that she could share the same bond with but swore she would never have another rat due to the shorter life spans. So I begged hubby to let her have a cat..

Alergy meds on hand, we adopted a 2 year old mix who was days away from being delivered to the pound by a family who could no longer keep her. They had posted her on CL for weeks and had no luck finding her a home.. We drove 2 hours to get her. Short story long... Kate loves her and Brian is doing Fine with the alergies!

Soooooo what does that mean??? It means that I could finally ask for my sphynx and mean it! And talk about perfect timing! I asked in the begining of FEB! lol perfect Valentines gift! ;)

So I have two of the most amazing Sphynx kittens coming to live with us!!! They are almost 4 weeks old right now so I have 8 more weeks of torture and waiting to go... but it will be sooooo worth it when they get there!

I'm just soooo excited! I'll post pics ASAP! I just need to resize!

Awesome!! I have a ragdoll and a himmy..Id love to have a Devon Rex some day..almost hairless but not quite lol..

Ohhh the D-Rex are awesome... I am such an exotic cat fan.. they have such amazing personalityes and their looks are just second to none.. each one more beautiful than the next...

How cool! You should get them some of those kitty sweaters! You definitely have a hairless them with hairless cats and a hairless dog...poor pixie must feel out of place with all that hair :p

My parents live with me and my mom is deathly afraid of cats or I would have one they feel like a peach this lady goes to pet smart with the cat in her wagon wearing a dress it is sooo cute

Pixie will look like a lady in a parka wandering around in a nudist colony! lol

I had a friend ask when I was shaving pixie and moving to a nudist colony meself!:eek:

I just can't wait for the girls to come home!!! I'm having a HUGE kitten shower to introduce them to everyone!:p

LOL Did anyone ever watch the Friends episode when Rachel brought home the hairless cat. She was convinced that it hissed raaacheeelll at her LOL
