Comet Leaves Soon Well Soon Comet will be off to live with my Mom and Dad in New Orleans:( .. I am giving my Boxer to my parents:( .. He is just not happy in a house I have been feeling this way for a long time now.. But I am starting to feel like I am a bad Mom:( .. I want him to be happy.. My Parents are happy to take him because he is a great guard dog and good boy but he needs more space to run and play.. My house perfectly big enough for Mi and Koda to run and play but not a big boxer.. I feel bad for Kayla too because my house is so small but I can't send her with Comet because of the situtaion i got her from I would be scared she will bite my parents.. So Friday my parents will come get him :( .. Can someone assure me I'm doing the right thing.. I know he will be more then well taken care of and I will get to visit whenever I want |
Sounds like you are making the best decision for Comet. You will still get to see him and know he is happier with your parents. I now it must be so hard but you are doing it for him. |
Aaaawwww it sounds like your heart is hurting. Sometimes being a Good Mom means that you have to put your own feelings aside and do what's best for your kids. In this case, it sounds like you really truly have Comet's best interests in mind. We have an elderly boxer that I love dearly. They are a fantastic breed of dog, and they do settle down and make wonderful house dogs, however, they DO need lots of exercise. |
Once I start my new Job and start looking to buy I will more then likely ask to take him back.. But not till I feel like I really have the space he needs.. Thanks for making me feel better |
If your parents will give him what he needs, it sounds like you are doing the right thing. It's hard to find an animal a new home but at least you know where he is going and will be able to see him.:) |
