Please pray for my parents!
 

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but my parents has a beautiful precious cat named Toni and Toni is very sick. They took her to the vest Thursday and found out she has a rare blood disease. Something about the red blood cells is not producing right. They also said she was anemic. They said she is not in pain, but all she does is lay there and cries. We are syringe feeding her and giving her medicine. I bought some kitten formula in hope that it will give her the vitamins she needs to get well. They are just so devastated and my poor dad just broke down and was crying. This cat is so special to him. They also have a Pug and every time he takes Buddy (Pug) out for a walk, Toni was always right behind him. I have never seen a cat who would take a walk like she did.
My mom thinks they should have her put down, but my poor dad just can't do it, he wants to wait and pray that the medicine does the job. He even told me if they had to put her down, he just could not do it and asked me if I would do it for him! OMG, I'm such a softy, that I would have such a hard time doing it.
Please pray for Toni and my Dad Jim and my mom Judy. Give them the strength to care for Toni and to get her well again.

I'm so, so sorry for your parents and what they're going through with Toni. She is a gorgeous cat, and I'm sure she is very loving and sweet. Everyone invovled is in my prayers. I pray that your father doesn't have to go through the pain, and that Toni will be able to rest naturally.

Missy, I am so sorry your parents have to go through this. I will be praying for them and Toni, for her complete return to health

I seem to have forgotten part of my sentence. I am also praying that Toni will have a full recovery, but if God has other plans, then I pray that she will go naturally.

What a sad time for all. Prayer's coming for Toni that the medication does work. Your parents will be in my thoughts and prayer's as well.

Thanks for all the prayers, but I'm so sad to say that Toni passed away last night. My dad called me bawling, he said he went to check on her and feed her and she had passed.
My heart hurts so bad for him, I can't stand to see my dad sad, it just makes it so worse.

I know Toni is out of pain now and she is in a better place.
RIP sweet kitty cat Toni.

Thanks megan, I really appreciate it. I\'ve always been a daddy\'s girl and I\'m at work and I hate knowing he is home and I can\'t be with him while he has to bury her today.
