cat question I'm going to have a lot of these since we are taking care of my grandma's cat... the cat has VERY VERY dry skin (My grandma lives in an apartment so i'm sure with the heat being on... dries him out) so for Layla i give her vitamin E in her food.. can i do this with the cat? |
what kind of food is the kitty eating? Also i noticed he was quite *cough* large *cough* Fat cats cannot groom themselves properly so they tend to get dry skin and mats along their spine going towards their butts. |
I would give it some salmon oil/omega 3 supplement. You might check with your vet on the dose. |

it is on crap at the moment.. purina... but we are switching it over... and it drinks A LOT ... is that normal?? maybe just the stress of the day??? |

my kitty used to be on purina too, then i switched him to Wellness and he is doing great. Beautiful shiny black coat. My cat does drink a lot of water but he's always done that since we got him at on year old 6 years ago. If Charlie isn't normally a huge drinker then it might just be the stress of the day or it might be something else. How old is he? |
