The storm and rain stopped here in Illinois around 9 this morning. But it felt like a steamy rainforest all day, lol.

Our power was out, so we went berry picking. It was pretty fun. We have wild black raspberries that grow out in the country. I ended up with a whole bucket of them.

I hear you on the 98 degree weather! It has been unbearably hot in Florida the past few days! This is only June! Can you imagine what August is going to be like! Send us some of that rain! My parents are tired of watering their garden.

I would gladly share some rain with you...if it was that easy. :p In any case, the lawn here is being way over-watered that mushrooms are sprouting and flowers are dying.

It is a nice out today so far. I think it is about 68 right now. The news said that it is going to rain I hope we have a nice thunderstorm. I love thunderstorms.:)

We had 21 straight days of rain (up to 2 ft)...Now have to mow and mow and mow and pull the weeds.

Me too! And some meats you just can't defrost in the microwave. Hmm... I have a box of chicken alfredo stuff that includes the chicken. Now, I wonder if my fav baking dish is clean....
