I'm in a very good mood tonight. My favorite Broadway actress (Stephanie J. Block) is leaving my favorite show (Wicked) this June to go to her new show, and I was supposed to be going to her last show in Wicked but things fell through. Well tonight I got a PM from someone on another board who just happens to have an extra ticket to Stephanie's last show. Its 2nd row dead center :eek: and she offered it to me. I'm so excited!! I can't wait. :D:D

It is my bros second trio to Eroupe to sing (tough life huh!?) The first time he toured and sang in old cathedrals. This time he is going to spend most of the time in London and then Scotland!
He graduated last week from the University of Bimidji in Minnesota, they have an excellent arts program.
I love to listen to him sing. A lot of your clips remind me of when he was in high school. I'll never forget how sick I got of Moulan Rouge (sp?) when he and a friend were preforming a duet! I had to hear it over and over and over!!!!!
I hope you find a great success in music, it is a wonderful talent and a magical gift!

Ohhhh.....my daughter did study abroad to UK when she was in college. She absolutely Loved it!

I've never been to the US, but my sister has just got back from Mississippi. It was her husband's brother's wedding, his new wife is from there and they're going to live there in a cabin in the woods! My sister also spent 10 weeks working in downtown Chicago with her Church. A very frightening yet rewarding experience for her!

We had a picnic in the park today! Loads of dogs there, I seen my first ever Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever! I've seen them in books/online and such but this was the first time I've seen one in the flesh! Beautiful! He was shaved with a tuft of hair at the tip of his tail, so I'm guessing he is a working dog. I didn't get a chance to speak with his owner, but I'll be looking out for them again!

ughhh my neighbor again. I'm going nuts now.

My mom was in the office at school last week, and in SHE walks with the dog. My mom kind of looked up (she was going to say hi) and my neighbor (I don't want to use her name as I'm in school right now in study hall and she's in here too) rolled her eyes at my MOM. Um, sorry, but you DON'T do that. I want to smack her.

She's been telling everyone at school that I run around without my crutches at home. First of all, why are you spying on me? Second, that was over a month ago, and I haven't done it since because I'm not ABLE to. Third, no one likes her, most people like me. No one believes her anyway. But its still annoying that she's spreading LIES about me for NO reason. She's torn her meniscus - she KNOWS that there are days where you can do more on it than others. She just can't stand the fact that people are helping me out and not falling at her feet to help her.

Oh and my brother did his Eagle project this past weekend. His Eagle project that he's been working towards since he was like...5. When he joined cub scouts. You'd think that the paper could send someone out, right? Nope. They didn't have anyone that could even go out for half an hour to take a freaking picture. But anytime SHE has a seizure and the dog helps her (like its been TRAINED to do) there's the freakin paper writing an article on it. No one CARES anymore! I'm pretty sure they've milked it for all its worth. She was on the freaking channel 2 news a few weeks ago! are you KIDDING me!? My mom has a service dog that didn't even NEED to be trained, but you don't see us going around making sure everyone knows!

So I just found this thread....I'm sitting at work bored out of my mind and eating Cheeseball. Anyone else just love Cheeseball?? It is one of my favorite snacks of all time. And of course I have to have a cold Coke with it. LOL just figured I'd put my words in for today.:D:D

and thanks for the comment on my avatar. :) That's basically how i am with math...here it is. I saw it and I was like "that's me" so I had to have it! The other day I was going through the hall and I noticed that one of the math teachers had it on her shirt, it made me laugh.

I hope your family took pictures of your brother's project. Submit to your paper. Most newspapers and tv stations are hungry for readers to post pictures, blogs, etc. I would recommend your brother does that.

We took TONSS of pictures of the project, and we're going to send them to the paper. Its just the idea of it, you know? Like, they can go to this girl 5 times a week but they can't come out one day out of the whole year?

School gets out June 17 I think. Not soon enough. Even then I can't really get away from her haha. I kind of wish I hadn't tried to be nice to her in the beginning of the year. If I hadn't, maybe it wouldn't bug me so much that she's such a jerk to me.

I need to go (horse back) riding. I think that will calm me down. This whole thing started a few years ago when we worked at a horse farm together (I'm quite sure I've mentioned it. But I was 12 and she was like 15 and she was always mean to me, saying that I didn't pull my own weight on the farm when I did more than her and that I didn't know how to ride horses when I'd been riding for like 6 years at the time. She still tells people I didn't know what I was doing). Since I haven't been able to go riding lately (as I reluctantly gave it up for voice lessons), I think that going again and just reassuring myself that I can do it...or something...will help me.

One day I know I'll look back on this and laugh, but right now its just so irritating.

The Capital of Culture 08!
 

I've been to Liverpool today. As it says in the title, Liverpool is the Capital of Culture this year! I live just half an hour from the city but hardly ever visit, my fella works there every day but he doesn't get a chance to wander round.
So today I took our kids, all four of them as its half term. We got the train and visited an exhibition at the Conservation Centre then went on to The World Museum. We had a great day, the kids loved the dinosaurs and the live bugs!!! They loved meeting up with Daddy for dinner. But I think if you asked them their highlight it would probably be the hot doughnuts from a street vendor! LOL!!!
We met Daddy again for the train home, and now they are all tuckered out and ready for bed!

I studies all week for my Anatomy test (quiz) and get there today and after we took it she said this is for bonus points on your big test. I was glad but ill at myself for stressing ovr something so small. I did good 13/15.

ok, Megan is going to kill me, but....she is being very humble about horseback riding. She's an amazing rider. At 11 years old she was riding in the Advanced group when we went to a dude ranch for vacation. And she was about that same age when her riding stable had a horse show. They put Megan in the 14 and up catagory because she was more advanced than the ones her age....and she won 3 blue (1st place) ribbons and one red (2nd place). Sorry Megan, didn't mean to brag...well, yeah I did.:D You-know-who is just a spoiled, jealous little brat and is always miserable. You on the other hand, are a great kid, always looking out for others and well, ok, I'll stop....you are probably blushing!

Alright guys, I have a question!! I'm going to a wake today (the secretary at my school died :() and I'm already wearing a dress cause I was at church, but I don't know if I should change or not. The problem is that it's very...brightly colored (pinks, reds, oranges, etc *it's the dress that I'm wearing in my prof. picture, except right now I have a brown sweater over it and a cami under it). Are you supposed to wear black to wakes or is that just funerals?

These days I don't think it matters, as long as you make an appearance. I don't think what you have on should make a differance. I don't even remember what people wore at my Husbands funeral, I was just appreciative of all the people that paid their respects.
