ughhhhh. I have a rant. :mad:
A year ago, I got a cat from some friends' of ours. She was a stray and they took care of her until they could find her a home. After we adopted her, another stray showed up and they started taking care of HER. She recently wound up pregnant, and had kittens a week ago. There is one that I'm in LOVE with, and they wanted to give it to me for my birthday. and my parents said no.
I'm really freaking mad at them. I pay for everything for my cat by MYSELF, she stays upstairs and doesn't really bother them at all (even when she's downstairs, she completely ignores them). In a year, I'm going away to school. I'm trying to convince my mom to let me get an apt. so I can bring the cat with me, no I have to live on campus so the cat has to stay home. Then she turns around and uses THAT as a reason for me not to be able to get the kitten!! that's CRAP! SHE'S the one who won't let me live off campus!!
and OK, so the cat has to stay home, whatever. A second cat would be better for HER because then she'd have someone to play with.
I just don't know why my parents have to say no to everything first. Sometimes they give in, but I know this time they're not going to. I'm seriously annoyed with them. It's just NOT that big of a deal, especially when ALL of the responsibility is with me. |
