alias, TRICKY;)....after Penny Lane the other day, I meant to tell you a few months back the Evansville PhilHarmonic brought in the group of Beatle Imatators....can't remember their name....but it was soooo cool! I can only imagine what it would have been like back in your day.....teeheeJK....to see the real group live!!!!!!! (I'm actually not to far off,...maybe a decade or so!!!!) They were fantastic!! |
Was that a commentary or an answer? Hmmm ... I'll take it that the word "alias" is your response. Here's mine. Alter ego. As for the Beatles, I was a tad young but I did see George Harrison live playing with Ravi Shankar. Harrison had a hoarse throat and I wasn't in to Ravi, but it was history, so what the heck. I enjoyed being part of it. |
Clark Kent.......you didnt enjoy my commentary? :(;) did the age thing ruffle some feathers? JK |
No, no. I enjoyed it. Just didn't know how to proceed. ... lol. Dave Clark Five (sheesh, I am old!) |
no seesh this word association tonight is like a final exam:D;)!! Ok here goes.....In 1964 (I was 1) , this group almost knocked the Beatles "I want to hold your hand" off the charts. They were almost competition!!! Now I didn't use cliff notes, BUT I had to use the ole Wilkapedia......where else can you come to not only learn about Yorkies, but just about anything else:D!! This is broadening my knowledge base;)!! commentary finished... word is. rival |
Quit bragging about being so young! Ann Margaret (that one ages me too. She was in an Elvis movie (Viva Las Vegas, maybe?) and sang a song about her rival.) |
dancer? didnt she dance?? |
Yeah, singer and dancer. Prancer |
Comet....I liked young Elvis...now theres a real hunkahunka man;), but sadly I only remember heavy Elvis:( performing.....I'm too chatty for these games arent I??:D |
Vixen. That is both my reply and my commentary. In a joking way, of course. :D Yeah, skinny Elvis was the bomb -- before anyone knew what "the bomb" was. Oh, P.S. Late-night posters get more license to be chatty. |
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Rudolph..short and sweet;) |
