Vicky, I guess it's neat to know which you're having - boy or girl. But I didn't want to know. I wanted to be suprised. Lori, I hope your friend will be alright. Hi Elaine! |

We want to know so that we can buy clothes and bedding that are gender matched. I don't want everything to be natural colours or lemons. We need to get a head start on shopping because of me being on sick and only having one income... I calulated what everything was going to cost last night buy going through the websites of the two biggest baby shops in the UK and I'm looking around the £1,600, ($3,200). Plus we are only in a one bedroom flat and we have literally no where to put even a moses basket in the bedroom let alone anything else. :( I've put in for an exchange and should hear back this week if I am being considered for it but I'm not holding my hopes up... BUT, if we do get it then we need carpets through out and plus the extra windows mean more curtains, etc, etc... :( So knowing the sex of baby will help me a great deal in being able to buy things and will also give me something to be excited about cuz right now nothing looks good... especially the thought of having no space for a baby in my current home... |

Hi thread! Just home to let the Tinkerbrat out to potty and play a bit. Did you see her post on the Dirty Furkids thread last night?! Too funny. She's pretty sneeky, but I got her good! She is squeeky clean now. |

So who would sleep on the cot you or BF? You could always do what my mum did with me. Opened the bottom dresser drawer and put a little blanket in it for me to sleep on. When I wasn't sleeping, the drawer was closed so no one stubbed their foot on it. when I got to big for the drawer, they put me in the overstuffed chair with a dining room chair turned around at the end so I couldn't fall out. Pretty resourceful for two kids trying to finish university, I think! |
