No,neither of mine are crate trained. Have a large crate and a small crate but they are in the closet folded up. Neither of them liked it....oh well!

Hmmm. Well, Tink is. But at night when we go to bed, she pants in her crate everynow and then. I wonder why? It's certainly not warm in my bedroom.

Maybe she is just a bit nervous at first and so she pants! If it is just every now and then, I wouldn't worry about it.......doesn't sound serious.

I see our conversation yesterday has been refered to as strange... but I've been keeping you alive while everyone has been busy! :(

Tink's Mom, Gypsy is crate trained and she used to kick up a real fuss for being in there but she learned to accept it cuz I wasn't going to get her out no matter what she did and she was going to be ignored! She's just fine it in now, she only goes in when there's no one home though, she sleeps with me at night.

Marcella and Morkie... if Admin closes the thread then we can just make "Thread Killer Returns" and start again... if they can make 5 Hannibal films then we can do the same with the Thread Killer thread.

Wonder how long it will be before someone comes to talk to me or the thread gets infiltrated! :confused:

G&M I left you a good morning on our other thread.

Tink is fine in her crate - she's been in it since the beginning. I just wonder why she pants sometimes after she goes in for nighty night.

Are you giving her attention when she does it? Gypsy would try everything to get me to come back to her... mym Dad told me to just ignore her completely and she'd admit defeat.

No, just ignoring her. Can't figure it out. I'm sure she's not hot, because my bedroom is quite cool.

I think you made the right decision about leaving Tink with friends when you go to your daughters wedding BTW, I'm sure your daughter will be soo pre-occupied that she wouldn't really get to spend time with Tink.

I'm watching a wildlife documentary and these people have brought up some wild dog puppies from 17wks and had them neautured and now they are 5mnths and behaving just like any other dog! They are sooo cute but I still couldn't trust them!
