Awww, I missed everyone again. Was tuning in to check on Tink. If she's eating chicken and rice, then she must be doing OK. :)

Well, we have to make an emergency trip to WVa tomorrow morning to get my niece out of a bad situation. We have to take the cops with us because the boyfriend has made threats to her to keep her there. Please pray for us to have a safe and uneventful trip.

OH NO. Sorry to hear that. :( I am glad someone is going to get her though. That is best. I am all too familiar with those kinds of scenarios unfortunately.

I'm glad you're taking the police. You may need them.

thank you. I am nervous about it because I am not sure what will happen. My mom is keeping the skinkids and I am hoping she will sit with the furkids too.

Wow, that's a long way to go! I think it is really cool that would do that for your niece. :thumbup: I hope things go well. How long are you planning on being gone? Are you flying or driving?

I have a niece who is always getting into those kinds of relationships... it's heartbreaking when they don't want to get out of it. I'm glad your niece does.

It is only 2 hours from where we live, so we are driving.

The Tinkerbrat (because at this minute she is) has Histoplasmosis. I posted about it at the beginning of her thread. It will take maybe up to two months of antibiotics and bland food to get her well.

She is having some problems, but she is in good form. Each day she eats a little more. Today she learned that she can sit up on her pillow or in her crate and bark at me and I'll do whatever she wants, cause she can't walk yet. Isn't she a little rascal! Sick as a dog (?) and barking at me.
