Thanks Lori... :) |
Any time Teri I am here for you hun :) And you too Carol:) |
Well thread, I couldn't get back on yesterday, so here I am today. My cousin came over which was a rare occurance! Then she wanted us to go to dinner with her and her husband which was a never heard of in the history of cousindom miracle! We actually had a good time which was another never heard of miracle. WOW! Then my sister and I went to the church service at camp and then home for another ice cream party and then cleaned up after that, and now I'm posting and everyone is in bed sleeping. Sniff!:( But that's OK. I'm heading for Wisconsin tomorrow early afternoon. I figure if I leave by 2:00, I should get home by 8:00 and still have an hour of light left to get the car unpacked (at least part of it). If I can get Tink, her crate, and my clothes in, that will be enough. I can do the rest Saturday. So, maybe I'll see you tomorrow night. Sleep well little thread. |
HI Susie!! Have a safe trip home! We have missed you! :( |

The funeral for the 23 year old young man was held today. He had just finished college. He had been going out with a girl for 4 years and they were planning on getting married. I got there as the last of the people were leaving with the flowers, food, etc... the mom and step dad were still there. It was awful. I couldn't help crying. I stayed away from people as much as I could. Then everyone left and I cried my eyes out. I couldn't stop. It was hard to breathe. I couldn't stand the thought of that young man taken so early - the thought of his mom suffering so much. I read what she had written for the back of the bulletin - it was a letter to her son. It was so beautiful and heart wrenching. I finally left work cause I couldn't function. I can't imagine what his mom and brother are going through. It just aches... |

I'm home! I got everything unpacked except Sarah's wedding presents. I'll get them tomorrow. Now I just have to unpack my suitcase and Tink's suitcase and put up all the little "things" I bought while I was down there. I got 3 new frogs (I love frogs and hummingbirds), a little grey bird statue, a darling little angel child praying (for my patio), a slate Welcome sign for my door, some flowers for decorating, some potpouri, a picture frame for a pic of my mother that needed reframing and some lovin from my sister! I had a good time. Teri, I'm sorry you had such a hard time at the funeral. I know something like that is so difficult to handle. It just seems senseless doesn't it. :( You just have a tender heart lady!:) I missed you all. I'm glad to be back on a regular basis now. So, I have to go check out the threads that were posted while I was gone. That will take awhile! :D |
