Good God, have I killed the thread??? Where you all gone? I've been babysitting this thread all evening! I have to go bed soon, is someone going to come keep it alive or not?

I'm allowed, I've been here most of the night either alone or fighting with Dobiedude! He came to kill the thread and I had to save it, two people came to the battle but shortly left! :( It was traumatic for the thread, it needs TLC

Dunno, I was dragged into this a few nights ago and I've hardly seen anyone since!!! LOL

Tink's Mom posted once earlier and Tinker's Mom was one of the ones to help me defeat Dobiedude... I've not seen Gingergirls Mom anywhere

Hi girls...I'm back. I had to go get a few things earlier and then I had unexpected company...it was a nice coffee clutch though! The snow is headed right for us but not until after midnight. I'm in Central Illinois so those west of me might be getting it now. I'm not looking forward to this...I've had enough winter and that stupid groundhog and wayward Robins have lied yet again...early spring...yah, right! :rolleyes:

Ohhh, I'm sorry your getting the snow. We had snow for a couple of days last week but it wasn't as bad as what's coming over there.

I really don't like snow...well, I guess I shouldn't say that. I really don't like the the hazards that come with snow like the possibility of losing power, slick roads and people that don't know how to drive on them, the cold air...things like that. The snow showers are beautiful and everything looks so magical when it's done but then the trudging around in the cold begins and my whole attitude towards it changes!

Yeah, me too! I love how pretty it all looks, I just hate the cold bit! I don't like going out in it if I can help it and the roads worry me with people who think they can just drive the same!!! :mad:

We do have a 4 x 4 truck so we can get around if we have to go out...we just don't like to! I'm staying in tonight...I'm making chocolate chip cookies and doing laundry. I got caught in the last ice storm...no power for 7 days and I didn't do my laundry before hand...I won't get caught again!

WOW, 7 days without power! That must REALLY suck!

A 4x4 is handy, I wish I had one when the weather is bad.

Yah...we did end up with a generator towards the end but I couldn't use my dryer because it's 220 and you can't run that off of a generator. I had some things in the house but I had to be careful and the furnace wasn't running at full speed so it wasn't as warm as it should have been...I was grateful for the heat we did have though!

Cookies are done...perfect!

I don't think I'd know how to wash clothes by hand!!! LOL. I guess that's one of the good things about the UK, weathers never great but nothing compared to the storms you get over there!

I read every post.............takes forevery but I want to find out what's going on in here! He better beware. Obviously he couldn't handle with dignity one of us so he better not come around when we are all on here. He'll never get a word in!:D :D

Anyone still here? I couldn't post 'cause Tink got her box and we had to open and try everything on and taste everything you know!
