Sounds nasty. Glad we didn't get it that bad. I feel so awful for those in Ike's path down south.

Glad your house was OK though. Sarah didn't get a single drop of rain in Austin!

No damage just a ton of rain...at one point we couldn't even see past our boat dock for the rain. It went down pretty quick in town though.

Good stuff isn't it???

My day was great.......spent a good bit of the day clipping dog hair but I so enjoy grooming the sweeties!!! ALL FOUR OF THEM! :lol2: :lol2:

My foot is still giving me problems, too. It hurts to walk. :( I still can't get my tennis shoes on either.

We have had a few days of lots of rain... we really need it though.

Yep, the water is all gone and the boat is back in it's rightful spot. Oh...we did have to tie our neighbor's boat to his lift...it was floating off! So far since living here we've had an ice storm and 7 days with no power, record snow, 2 tornadoes, an earthquake, a drout and 2 floods...all we need is fire and a swarm of locust and we'll have it all! LOL! Seriously though...it's time to move!

Ummmm, exactly where in the USA do you live, I want to avoid that area!:p:p

Actually, we are planning to move closer to our kids...that way they can watch the house while we go to Florida in the winter!

LOL! I don't blame you...we're in central Illinois where the weather can change in a matter of seconds.

Susie...you better get here fast girl...we're listing this week! The next house (if they accept our offer) will have a big pool though so that's a plus!
