Susie - you can get from your vet a topical solution that tastes and smells icky so they won't lick their incision. I used it on two dogs so far cause I hate those E-collars so much. The stuff works great! You don't put it on the incision, just around it.

Susie, I'm glad you're back, although I don't think I've caught you here yet. How is moving going, and more importantly (sorry:rolleyes: ) how is Tink? Bernie says to tell her, piece of cake:cake: . He thinks he's an old pro, since he came through his surgery and he says she's lucky to have such a super great mommy while she's going through this and that she'll feel much better after she heals. He didn't know his mommy yet when he had to go through his surgery...he thinks Tink will be okay and sends lots and lots of puppy kisses. (I told him he's technically not a puppy anymore, be he was having none of it)
