vegaroev, you can learn to drive a standard shift. It's just the timing with the feet that get's ya. If you can dance, you can drive!;)

How many of you that said you drove standard, have one??? I don't anymore. I have an automatic now! BUT I learned to drive on standard....1963 Ford Comet! :eek: :eek:

My DAD taught me.............he tried really hard. I stalled the car so many times at first but once you get the idea, it isn't hard at all!!! My son had a standard for the longest time and I use to drive his. After all these years, and I could still do it!

I have one glad i don't have much stop and go trafic though I hate a standard at those times.

Oh and my second car, it was standard as well but the reverse and first gear did not work but I could drive it! You just had to give it a little extra gas and play with the clutch to get it to move. And the reverse, who needs it! I just made sure that I parked so I could always pull foward!!!! Them times were tuff!:D

well, it's his car, I don't care about cars much, but he wants a 250 horse power car(like if he is going to use all the power of the car )like that one. To me as lopng as it takes me to the mall and to the pet store is fine, ah and to wrok too:p
