I'm so upset with my parents..They think it's stupid to spend anymore than $100 on a pup. they just want me to get a female so I can breed it. :mad: they think dogs are to breed for $$$, which makes me so upset. Yesterday they said that "those YorkieTalk people are just trying to controll the amount of yorkies, thuse keeping the price high". I want this male so bad from Kathy, but I hate how much I'll have to fight them. I'm ready to move out! :(

Well perhaps it might be time to look into moving out. I know parents dont understand us alot of the times, but we still love emmm. You have to remember they were raised in a different era and don't always do well with new changes in the world(or atleast mine don't),lol!!

Yeah, I know. I wish they'd just get it. Let me care about yorkies and You care about your finances. Pamper Your Pup was created to be my funding for showing yorkies :D

Yesterday after I talked to them, I came home in tears. Part of me is just like I'll wait until I have my own place. I'll just get a pet for now.. The problem is, with their money minds, I won't be making my BUCK!!! :mad:

The big problem is, we're both so set with our views. I'm not budging, hoping I'll teach them the right way, and they're not budging thinking I've just let the wool be pulled over my face. :rolleyes:

oh, girl...get your pup and let them get over it!! you are an adult (right????) so make your own decision. One thing I do NOT do in life, is worry about what other people think about the way I choose to spend my money or treat my pets.

You have a passion...FOLLOW IT. don't let anyone, not even your parents, stop you! my husband does not share my passions, but he also knows better than to stand in my way of them!

yes I need to let it go, and not worry about what they think. If they think it's stupid..that's their problem. . .

Thanks so much for talking Deb and Mandee!! I feel so much better..YT is like medicine. :D I have a cold which probably doesn't help me when I get upset with her, because I don't feel good, but I know I have friends here!! ;)

yep. we just have to hope we have instilled good values in them. no matter what, our kids are going to do things we don't like. they are going to try things, experiment, and do things that will make us cringe. but as long as we have done our part to instill those values...they should come out ok. and we, as parents, have to remember that parenting doesn't end at 18. it lasts until the day we die. it's just a different kind of parenting. it's more of the quite type LOL some parents are too mouthy....don't know how to let the kids grow up and make their own lives. but we have to always be there to be "mommy" when we are needed.

Thanks!! I got on this morning feeling very down about our conversation yesterday. I got on YT and felt so much better. I just needed some yt medicine. :) Thanks for being such great friends.
