Well thread, it's you an me again at the end of the night. I had a very busy day today. Looks like you did too. I ran sound at church for dress rehearsal for the Good Friday pageant we're doing. It was a very interesting experience. The sound man (me) is in charge behind the director and I could not get these people to be quiet and listen to me. I wasted 20 minutes trying to set levels with no input. So I finally shut them down, sat in my chair and waited 'til they figured out that none of their mics were working. I was laughing up there in my booth!!:D Then I hear the director say, "Uhm people, I think you have insulted the sound man. We need to apologize so we can get going here." Funny!!! There were no problems after that. Later when everyone was leaving, they were so nice to me "Bye Susie, Thanks Susie, Good job Susie, How do you learn to run that big board Susie?" Well, it was a good experience for them to learn that they have to listen to the sound man if they want to sound good. Ok, well thread it was good talking with you or rather to you. Thanks for listening to my funny story. Sleep well, I'll see you tomorrow. |
Good morning little big thread! I only get to talk to you these days. Hope you had a good sleep. I'm calling the docs today. I'm mighty tired of this headache that never goes away and the cramps in my bad leg that keep me up. It's gone on long enough now. OK I'm done crabbing! I;m glad its not hurting really bad :) cool on the dress..cant wait to see Daisy in it :) well I havnt talked much to my sisters for a few years ( long story)..but my oldest brother got back from florida, he had taken my mom on a vacation, anyway he called to say lets go for dinner tonight my treat....he said everyone was going...so I though ok, cool.. ( i have 2 brothers and 2 sisters) there was 25 of us total.including kids ..We said hi and talked like nothing ever happend. i hugged my sis and said I miss my sis, and just took off from there...and guess what? everyone came back to my house afterwards. it was so nice to all be together again. I know my dad is watching down over me and is happy that we are all talking again. i just wish it would have happened while he was with us....so it was a very emotonal day for me but happy ending. |

yes it does, and my dad would always tell me to make up and me and my sis are both stubborn, so it didnt happen...till now....i think on my end its because my mom now lives with her and i want to be able to have a relationship because my mom is there...for whatever the reason, im glad anyway. i was ok at the buffet, but since they all left its like it hit me, so happy tears are better than sad ones right? lol |
