Did you see my post about the Petsmart experience today? Funny and scary at the same time. I think I scared Morkie4 off from buying a harness vest though. I hope she'll reconsider. Even tho Tink got out, I think It;s a great vest!

I forgot to tell her about it. I didn't really get to talk to her because I'm running sound for the sanctuary tomorrow and sh'e playing sax, so she was on platform and I was in the booth.

I read that! That is really scary, I'm glad you were IN the store. Will you continue to use the harness???

Yep. I like it. I think I probably shouldn't have put her down on the floor to get the dog food down. She's never been in a harness before and I think she was scared. She just went crazy!

Well, I'm glad it turned out well! Ginger got out of her harness vest when we were on vacation (surprise, there's a thread here somewhere about it), and I've never used a harness vest on her since! Guess I'm just a worrier:rolleyes: LOL, dh is always telling me I keep there step-ins too tight, so I took them into the vet and asked her to judge how tight they were...she said as long as they aren't wearing them all day (and they arent) that they are fine! But they are tight :p

Ladies, I have to tell you about this ENORMOUS elderly cocker spaniel that was at the groomers this afternoon. this woman dropped her off to be "Trimmed" and Chris said "I think we will have to de-matt her and it will be extra." The lady said "Well, just do what you can to make her look good. She's never been trimmed before and today's her 13th birthday."

The poor thing was white around the muzzle, she weighed 52 lbs on the scale. She was as wide as she was long. She wanted to play with Tink so bad ;) Well; while I was helping chris hold Tink to shave her ears, another girl cut the spaniels fur. It was 6 inches thick! She had to use a special tool to cut the whole coat off! IT was so sad. The dog started crying and Chris said it was because it hadn't been cool and comfortable for so long. It's poor skin was sloughing. When they were done, Chris put her on the scale and she was 24 lbs. 28 lbs of fur they cut off. It didn't look lie the same dog. Poor thing walked so funny without all that fur.

OMG, that breaks my heart. I'm sorry, but some people are just idi*ts!

You got that right! I wish the woman would have come back while I was there. I would have loved to see her reaction. It just looked like a competely different dog.

OMG, that is really sad...:( Don't mean to crash, haven't been on in awhile how is everyone doing...and whats been going on at YT....:eek: :p

Hi! Well, to make a long story short. Lots and lots and the papperazzi were here and YT keeps crashing, and Tink got out of her Harness at Petsmart and Bernie is getting better, and daisymae06 and Omega's shoulders are killing them, but gingergirls mom and I are fine.

My god that poor pup I bet she felt better after. all that hair was gone.
