Thanks you guys. I'm feeling rather ill right now 'cause I'm so worried. She looked just awful in that incubator. She didn't even move when I put my hand in to pet her. I talked to her the whole time and she just whimpered a little and that's all. She never even moved her head or her tail. Her hair is a big mess. I'll never get the matts out of it! |

Hi anyone! I finally have a quiet moment to post. I have a little visitor tonight. A lady that I work with has 3 Yorkies and she has loaned me her youngest - Dixie who is a blonde 5 lb, 5-yr old darling little furbaby. She was sitting on my patio when I got home from work with her. She said she knew I was terribly lonely and wanted to loan me her baby until Tink can come home. Isn't that sweet? I don't know that I could loan Tink to anyone!:eek: Anyway, she is very sweet but my goodness she's so little. I'm glad Tink is almost 9 lbs. 5 is too small for me - I'm afraid I'm going to step on her. But she moves FAST! I'm gonna go check my Tink thread and see what I posted last. I may need to update it. |
Hi Thread. Today I found out that my patterns for the harnesses are marked wrong. I marked them to the next size down. Yup, so the harnesses I made for several pups to model are too small. I think I'm a blonde without blonde hair!! OMG it makes me mad this happened. :mad: :mad: :mad: It's so stupid...I made one for Tatum to model and it fit her fine. THEN I messed up labeling them and put the wrong measurements to the wrong size :mad: So yeah, their probably ticked off I can't even get my patterns straight. And yes it ticks me off too! ARGH Okay, so I'm getting off to a hard start, but hopefully things start getting better. |
Aw, I'm sorry about that. It's very annoying to have to do rework when you were enjoying the first work so much. It will get better - don't worry. |

Don't have much time - between sessions today so still at work. But wanted to update you. Tink is drinking the broth on her own this afternoon! She had another seizure last night but they felt it was mild. They are going to take her out of the incubator now and put her in a crate in the ICU. She seems to have some palsy and some head tics. But the vet said that doesn't mean it is permanent. I'll try to post more later on the thread. thanks everyone for your thought and prayers. Smooch:) |
Susie, Still praying for Tink. I know you have a huge support group, but I'm home all night and all day tomorrow if you need to talk. I didn't know my Bernie-bear when he was spending weeks in the hospital fighting for his life. But I know the miracle that he is now. I've always connected these two since that first silly post when Bernie was racing to see Tink (LOL, don't even remember what thread or what it was about)...I'm sure now that there is a reason for this, Bernie was supposed to have suffered permanent neurological damage...he didnt. They are connected. They are TWO miracle babies, I know it. We're pullin hard for Tink. Bless you and bless Tink. |

I think she will have to go home tomorrow whether or not Tink comes home. There was a complaint note on my door from the neighbor!:eek: Oops! Makes up for their parties that start at 12:30am and go to 6:00 am:p |

I'm still here for a little bit. I was ready to hit the sack and the hospital called to tell me that Tink ate some baby food - a whole tablespoon! They wanted to ask me to bring some more broth tomorrow when I come and to tell me she can't come home until maybe Friday night. |
Hi!! I did see Tink's update. Glad to hear she's improving!! I try to keep up, but it can be hard with such a big site. |
